Remarkable Leadership has had a good week in the news.

I was interviewed for the New York Post about making meeting more fun and why that matters.

The book was reviewed by the Globe and Mail (Canada’s largest newspaper)

I was interviewed by, the online home of the Boston Globe about how to keep productivity up while people are focused on something like the World Series.

As the U.S. Presidential election process continues to garner more and more media attention, there will be many opportunities for learning leaders to observe and learn from these high profile potential leaders.

This morning’s New York Times offers a story about Senator Clinton’s management style, and contrasts it with the style of her husband Bill.

 The article is an interesting look at the candidate, some of her strengths and tendencies, and also shows her to be a learning leader – wiling to adapt and adjust her approach over time.

In terms of the competencies in Remarkable Leadership it appears process orientation and planning are two of her strengths.

Some of the most visible leaders are our political leaders.  Because of this we have been conducting a survey to learn more about how people feel about the leadership qualities required of a U.S. President, and what Presidents have had which qualities.  I will be sharing some results here later, and discussing some of these findings in the media in the coming weeks, but in preparation for that, we would love your ideas.   Here is your chance to share your thoughts in our research.

Are Small Business Owners Remarkable Leaders?

I believe (no surprise) that they certainly can be, and that is part of what John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing fame and I talked about on his podcast.  We recorded it awhile back and it was released yesterday.
